The nurses are wonderful people and do their best under not the best conditions.

Cons

Short staffing is a big issue. Icu nurses are floated to telemetry and med surg all the time. Their reasoning is, "no one is applying" .

Cafeteria had great food and surrounding restaurants had amazing takeout ONLY positive I can think of

Incompetent administration team Short staffed and underpaid HIGH turnover rate with employees so now I hear they are locking everyone into contracts and sign-on bonuses. Only novice nurses will be willing to work here so it's the blind leading the blind. Inconsistent scheduling Hospital policies in place for show not actually followed by administration because THIS hospital is run by the doctors who work there and bring in revenue (Internal Medicine, surgeons, etc.) Emphasize patient safety but this hospital only cares about money Staff is treated poorly and need connections in order to move up the clinical ladder

Incompetent administration team Inconsistent scheduling Unrealistic expectations Never satisfied despite low pay for heavy workload Revolving door as far as turnover for staff This place is only here to make money and it shows in the way they treat their staff Would never recommend to a friend
